Top 100 Albums of 2008!
Part [9] from #90. - #81.
As Usual... Press play and continue the countdown.
[One song is missing again as I could not find it anywhere.]

#90. MGMT - Oracular Spectacular

It might not be a "spectacular" album but it's very good and fresh.
Although the title may sound a bit cocky or bigheaded you have to give it a try if you haven't already done, as this band is very popular in the indie world.
Hype track: "Time to Pretend"
Must listen track: "Kids"

#89. Red Snapper - Blue Pale Dot

Red Snapper is a British band with jazz, funk and trip-hop elements in their music. "Blue Pale Dot" is a short album consisted of 6 tracks and 2 remixes. It is mainly instrumental and jazz with some simple dub details. An impressive album from a band that will soon come in Greece for a Live concert.
Must Listen Track: "Deathroll"

#88. Borko - Celebrating Life
That's a funny cover isn't it?
Beside this cover though you will find a magnificent album that you would not expect! If you loved the song "Rama Lama Bang Bang" by Roisin Murphy and you don't expect to listen meaningful lyrics, but in addition you are searching for music that will touch your soul... Here is the album you've been looking for.
Must Listen: "Dingdong Kingdom" and "Spoonstabber"

#87. Benoît Pioulard - Temper
"Temper" is one of the magical albums of the year that as soon as you press play you never go back. Its clarity and creativity is admirable. In other words this album is the meaning of "Discovering Musical Landscapes".
Must Listen tracks: "All of them" from 1 to 16 without back and forward.

#86. Stereolab - Chemical Chords
Stereolab's 11th album "Chemical Chords" is something usual but with a different approach. It is my favorite album of their total discography and it does not sound repetitive or monotonous like their previous works. It is just a good recommendation, you decide...
Must Listen Song: "One Finger Symphony"

#85. The Helio Sequence - Keep Your Eyes Ahead
"Keep Your Eyes Ahead" is a solid album offering a great variety of sounds and emotions. Melodic songs such as "Shed your love" leave you a melancholic feeling and others such us "Keep Your Eyes Ahaid" make this album more vivid.
Must Listen Tracks: "Lately", "Keep your Eyes Ahead".

#84. Clark - Turning Dragon
Warning! This Stuff is Explosive! Turn the volume up and dance in other case don't try it. This is the new work of (Chris) Clark and it is a flawless idm-electronic dynamite.
Try it if you are fans of experimental and idm music.
Chris Clark is always ingenious!
Must Listen Tracks: "New Year Storm" & "Violenl"

#83. School Of Seven Bells - Alpinisms
This is a beautiful shoegaze album from a New York's band.
The songs create a relaxed alternative atmosphere and give you a harmonic feeling. There are a lot of songs in this album that will make you sing for a long time.
Must Listen Songs: "Iamundernodisguise" , "Conjour"

#82. Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul
Ok, I have to admit that I was a fan of Oasis for many years... and that shows! Otherwise I wouldn't choose this album to be in the top 100 albums of the year and in such a high rank.
Oasis are back with this new album and after a listen or two, all that remains are 5-6 catchy songs. Nice tunes, simple lyrics and a safe and easy listening indie album.

#81. Lulu Rouge - Bless You
Lulu Rouge debut album "Bless You" is one of the albums I really enjoyed this year. Downtempo music, excellent vocals, deep dark tunes and addictive songs. This album will not disappoint you under no circumstances. God bless you Lulu Rouge, god bless you..
Must Listen Album
